Event planning (selected):
I was the lead event coordinator for our annual conference on the state of carbon removal in Canada, on top of my regular responsibilities leading promotion and marketing for the event. This gathering brought together climate experts, policymakers, innovators, corporate members, and Indigenous leaders to build momentum toward a robust carbon removal ecosystem in Canada. Notably, attendance doubled from the year prior.
Centering Indigenous Leadership & Community Voices Workshop
I led conference promotion and marketing for our workshop on defining responsible and respectful carbon removal deployment, which had a focus on Indigenous leadership. This included putting together an event re-cap, which you can read here.

A few of my colleagues from The Varsity and I spoke on our editorial, “The media and the message“, and our coverage of free speech controversies on campus.
